Innovation and Success: About the Learning Languages Institute

Published On: August 17, 2021

The Learning Languages Institute (LLI) has been teaching English as a Second Language for over 20 years and is now one of the largest language schools in Ontario Canada.

With several campus buildings across London ON, with state-of-the-art classrooms and language labs, LLI has been recognized as one of the best learning environments in Canada.

We are very proud that LLI has been awarded the 2021 Consumer Choice Award as top Language School (London) for the 3rd year in a row. This award was voted for by international students, and the award confirms our school as an ESL and educational leader in London, Ontario Canada.

So, what makes our ESL language school so special, and the ideal choice for so many international students? Here are just a few reasons!

#1 Our teaching staff

Learning Languages Institute is very proud to have an elite teaching faculty with decades of experience of working with international students. Our staff members are TESOL/TESL Canada certified and have university/teacher college training. Friendly and open, our staff create a wonderful classroom environment where student can feel relaxed, supported and inspired. All our teaching faculty take great pride in delivering an unforgettable experience for all our students.

Unlike other language schools where students only study with one teacher for their course, at LLI students will have access to at least four different teachers in their particular level during every week of lessons. So as an LLI student, you can benefit from the combined experience and skills of top language teachers, whatever program you choose to study.

#2 Our curriculum and teaching methods

At LLI, we have devised a unique curriculum that enables our students to do more than just learn English. Our programs teach students both the skills and functions of the English language within thematically based units.
By using Mastery Learning as a teaching methodology for every student, LLI has been established as a leader in curriculum development and progressive programming.

The Mastery Learning methodology involves students learning in a small classroom setting, with the primary focus on language acquisition and usage. In this small, friendly and supportive learning environment, students become very involved and active. Our 20+ years of experience has shown this to be THE most effective way to learn English.

Our innovative curriculum is currently being recognized and used globally under our direction. We are constantly developing and refining our curriculum to meet the needs of every new intake of students who study with us, whatever their goals and aspirations.

#3 Our location
