Celebrating New Year in London ON

Published On: December 30, 2021

For many of our international students, their first Christmas in Canada is very special!

Let it snow!

Some of our students have never seen snow before. Their first winter in Canada is made extra special when our cities, mountains and fields turn white for the first time each year.

Many cultures celebrate the start of a new year, often at the end of the Western calendar year (31 December 2021). Other new years starts on a different date, such as the Chinese New Year which starts on 1 February 2022.

There are lots of ways to celebrate New Year here in London ON, whether you gather with a few friends outside or take in a show. Remember, all activities may be affected by the latest COVID-19 restrictions, so do check with your venue before travelling.
